2026: The year of Accountability and Constancy
The idea behind starting a blog is to put a voice, my voice, in front of me. To keep myself accountable for my progress, my mistakes, my ideas, my failures, and my motivations.
I'm trying hard to stop thinking about the past with regrets and start thinking about the present, to change the attitudes that make me freeze like a deer in the headlights and take action in improving my life. Some part of me believes that if I see my own thoughts reflected back at me, something in my head will click and motivate me to take that leap I keep blocking myself from. That's why I wanted to start publishing some words: to lose the mental fog that disperses my thoughts and try to find clarity and focus.
That's also why I want to focus on two main areas:
Accountability: If I publish my ideas, they are then shown and revealed to the world. I will have to back my thoughts, provide evidence, support a thesis, put myself behind an opinion. There are no impulse trades here. There has to be a method to the madness to keep my impulsiveness in check.
Constancy: I need to keep my healthy habits going. I need to mechanize and make a routine of tasks that will improve me little by little. I need to find happiness in improving myself, delaying the gratification of the instantaneous. My dopamine should come from doing, not from receiving.
So you, the reader, will join me on this journey of accountability. I will try to answer my questions about the technological and financial world in a way that's entertaining and interesting.
Thank you for joining me. Here's to a great 2026.
